The Bulky Waste Facility has resumed its standard operating hours and is OPEN:
Monday - Saturday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
All standard items are accepted with applicable fees/permits required as outlined in the Waste Disposal Guidelines. Standard items include brush, stumps, and demolition materials.
- Face masks / coverings and social distancing REQUIRED at the facility. Residents are encouraged to visit the facilities on weekdays as opposed to Saturdays to help expedite their trip and encourage social distancing.
- Please provide exact change for any cash transactions to minimize physical contact.
- Permit purchase will be available beginning July 1 at the Transfer Station and Bulky Waste Facility only. (Town Hall remains closed to the public therefore permit purchase is not available at Town Hall until further notice). Residents may also purchase a permit by mail. - Residents who do NOT currently have a permit may dispose of items for a fee, as outlined in the Waste Disposal Guidelines. Proof of residency is required.

The Glastonbury Bulky Waste Facility only accepts brush, stumps, and demolition materials from vehicles with combination plates or commercial plates and trailers. Please access our Waste Disposal Guidelines for general information and permit fees.
Take Rt 17, Main Street south towards Portland. Before you get to the Portland town line, turn right onto Old Maids Lane. At the end of Old Maids Lane, turn left onto Tryon St. The Bulky Waste Facility is located on the left hand side.
