Client Information

Food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed in all of our rental spaces. In order to have use of the kitchen, the full Community Room or Community Room Side A must be rented, and an Approved Caterer must be contracted. In order to have alcohol service, the Community Room must rented (full or either half), and an Approved Alcohol Caterer must be contracted to supply and serve all alcohol. There is also an additional $150 fee to staff a supervisor when there is alcohol service. Information for Caterers Interested in Partnering with Us

The application process for becoming an Approved Caterer is outlined below.  If approved, you will be included on our Approved Food and Alcohol Caterers List for one year (April 1 – March 31).  Caterers may be added to the list at any time, but the fee is not pro-rated. Please note, approval is only required to use the kitchen and serve alcohol.  Delivery of food without use of the kitchen does not require approval.

The process for becoming an Approved Food Caterer is as follows:

  1. Complete, sign, and submit a Caterer Application
  2. Complete, sign, and submit the Approved Caterers Policies & Procedures
  3. Attach your current Food Service Permit
  4. Attach your current Certificate of Insurance ($1,000,000 General Liability) that names the Town of Glastonbury as an additional insured
  5. Attached a Qualified Food Operator Certificate
  6. Submit a $200 annual fee (non-refundable) and $500 refundable security deposit

The process for becoming an Approved Alcoholic Beverage Provider is as follows:

  1. Complete, sign, and submit a Caterer Application
  2. Complete, sign, and submit Approved Caterers Policies & Procedures
  3. Attach your current Catering Liquor Permit (must specify Catering)
  4. Attach your current Certificate of Insurance ($1,000,000 General Liability, $1,000,000 Liquor Liability) that names the Town of Glastonbury as an additional insured
  5. Submit a $200 annual fee (non-refundable) and $500 refundable security deposit

Please Note: Any caterer that is providing BOTH food and alcohol service need only pay one fee and deposit.
