The Town of Glastonbury offers a wide variety of programs to support a healthy, active, and safe community for residents of all ages and interests. Many of these programs are made possible by the generosity of individuals, businesses, and community groups in Town and a selection of opportunities to give are outlined below.
The Senior and Social Services divisions of the Human Services Department have several programs which welcome donations, gifts and contributions. Some programs depend completely on donations and contributions, such as the Food Bank and Fuel Bank, while others utilize donations to provide special programs and purchase special furnishings or equipment, such as the Senior Center and Dial-A-Ride. Opportunities to contribute to Senior and Social Services, as well as Parks & Recreation or Police Department programs are summarized below.

The Glastonbury Parks & Recreation Department offers an opportunity to Leave your Legacy through a donation of a park bench or tree in the local community, or a custom engraved plaque on the Dog Park fence. Please visit the Living Legacy Program web page for more information.
