Sand is available for icy conditions from the Town of Glastonbury behind the Town Hall at 2155 Main Street or the Town Garage at 2380 New London Turnpike.

Sand Bags are available commercially from Constantine Hardware or Melzen Farm Supply. Please note, all of these bags require the home/business owner to fill them with sand with one exception. The “Tuber Log Sand Bags” are a much smaller bag which contain sand and can be utilized to channel water in windows/door sills.
