Each year in Glastonbury, there are an average of 25 drunk driving car accidents that lead to legal issues, property damage, and even death. It's time for the community to change this pattern and make the streets safer. To works towards that goal, the Town of Glastonbury and the Glastonbury Community Action Partnership host an Annual 'White Out Walk' each year in December to promote safe, sober, and un-distracted driving for New Years Eve and 2017.
Information on each year's event will be posted to the town's event calendar as soon as date/time information has been solidified. For more information on this initiative, please contact the Glastonbury Community Action Partnership.
Glastonbury's White Out Walk has been modeled after the Town of Middletown's Substance Abuse Prevention Council's walk, which was started in 2004.
