Whether you're planning a wedding, bridal/baby shower, corporate meeting, bar mitzvah, graduation, or any social gathering, the Riverfront Community Center (RCC) offers the perfect atmosphere to ensure your event is exactly what you envisioned. The RCC provides a selection of beautiful rooms suitable for hosting a variety of events, and can easily be transformed to create the ambiance, theme, or setting your event needs to be successful! Conveniently located in central Glastonbury, the RCC is easily accessible from Route 91, Route 3 or Route 2. We are located at 300 Welles Street Glastonbury along the scenic Connecticut River, next to Riverfront Park, and less than a mile from local hotels and the town center.
Selecting the Best Room for Your Event
The guidelines below are provided to help you select the best space in our venue for your unique needs.
Rooms are only available for rent after 5:00 p.m. on Monday/Wednesday/Friday (including set-up time) and after 9:00 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Curfew is 11:00 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays and midnight on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Rentals are NOT available on weekdays before 5:00 p.m., or on Tuesday or Thursday evenings.

Are you planning to bring in your own food and nonalcoholic beverages? (If not, see next question below)
Activity Room (Up to 50 people) - $75/hr, 4 hour minimum on a Friday night or Saturday. Not available on a Sunday unless the Community Room has been rented.
Community Room B (Up to 120 people) - $125/hr, 4 hour minimum on a Friday night or Saturday, 6 hour minimum on a Sunday.
Full Community Room (Up to 250 people, no kitchen access) - $200/hr Friday, $250/hr Saturday/Sunday. 4 Hour minimum. Exercise Room can be added to increase capacity to 300 people for an additional $75/hr.
Are you planning to have an Approved Caterer use the commercial kitchen and/or serve alcohol? (Click here for an application and the current list of Approved Caterers)
Community Room A (Up to 120 people) - $150/hr, 4 hour minimum on a Friday night or Saturday, 5 hour minimum on a Sunday.
Full Community Room (Up to 250 people) - $200/hr Friday, $250/hr Saturday/Sunday. 4 Hour minimum. Exercise Room can be added to increase capacity to 300 people for an additional $75/hr.
All Community Room rentals (including half room rentals) include use of the outdoor patio, weather permitting. Rentals include set up and break down of tables and chairs and custodial support. Your rental hours MUST include all time that you and your vendors require for set up and clean up. Please note that there are additional charges for insurance (full Community Room), alcohol supervision, and security deposits. Inquire about nonprofit rates (minimums still apply). The full payment, plus security deposit, is due when booking within 120 days or less. A deposit of 25% of the total charges is due when booking more than 120 days in advance, the balance is due at 120 days.
