Glastonbury Seeking Donations for Annual Thanksgiving Program
The Glastonbury Social Services Department is hosting their annual Thanksgiving program and is inviting all Glastonbury community members to participate. We're seeking donations of non-perishable food items and there is a collection box in the Customer Service Center at Town Hall (2155 Main Street). Interested donors may drop off their non-perishable food items between now and November 15th.
While any non-perishable is accepted, ideal items include:
- Stuffing mix
- Canned fruits/vegetables/starches
- Dessert mixes
- Gravy and Cranberry sauce
- Other non-perishable items
If you’re willing to donate, please drop your items in the box at the Customer Service Center by next Friday, Nov. 15th. Social Services staff will deliver the collected items and grocery gift cards to eligible Glastonbury families on Tuesday, November 19th so they’ll have their items in time for Thanksgiving.
