The Facilities Maintenance Department is responsible for management of all capital building projects for both the Town and the Glastonbury Public Schools. Representative projects recently completed or underway include: • Construction of the Riverfront Community Center valued at $6.5 million. • Additions and renovations to Glastonbury High School valued at over $48 million. • Construction of the new Nayaug Elementary School valued at $29.5 million. • Replacement of the Glastonbury High School gymnasium floor and bleachers. • Renovations to the Glastonbury Police Department Dispatch Center. • Improvements to the Town Hall Town Clerk’s office, mail room, and public restrooms. • Replacement of roofs on the Town Hall, Academy facility, and Vehicle Maintenance Garage.
