NEW VOTER REGISTRATION:
Any U. S. citizen 18 years or older and a bona fide resident of this town is eligible to vote. If you are currently 17 years old, but will be 18 years old by Election Day, November 4, 2014, you may "pre-register" and you will become a voter on your 18th birthday.
HOW TO REGISTER TO VOTE:
- To register in person, go to the Registrars Office at 2155 Main Street, Glastonbury. The Registrars normal business hours are 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Tuesday through Thursday, with extended hours Monday through Friday during election time. In the event the Registrars are not in, registration in person may also be accommodated at the Town Clerk’s Office which is open daily from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
- Go to ONLINE VOTER REGISTRATION LINK and register. To facilitate the process, have your driver's license or last four digits of your social security at hand. Having your identification handy allows us to receive the information online with no printing or mailing required by you.
- Go to the Town of Glastonbury website and under Departments, Registrar of Voters find Voter Registration Card on the left hand menu.
- Mail-in registration cards may also be obtained at various public locations such as libraries, schools, Department of Motor Vehicles, or Town Offices.
