Reporting Street Light Outages

All street lights in Town are owned and maintained by Connecticut Light and Power Company (CL&P). Street light outages should be reported directly to CL&P at (860) 947-2000, or on-line at the CL&P Street Light Repair Website. The Town Engineering Division inspects the street lights on a quarterly basis and forwards a list of outages to CL&P for maintenance.  If residents have specific questions or need further assistance on street light related issues, the Engineering Division may be contacted at (860) 652-7735.

Requesting New Street Lights

Requests for the installation of new street lights should be made to the Engineering Division at (860) 652-7735. New street light installations are considered based on need and availability of funding.
