Complete Streets

The Glastonbury Town Council implemented a Complete Streets Policy in February of 2015 in order to consider the needs of roadway users of all modes, abilities, and ages, (pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users, and vehicle operators) in the all phases of street planning, design, and construction. This policy requires that every transportation project be viewed as an opportunity to improve safety, accessibility, and mobility for all users. The complete streets policy can be viewed here.

The Town of Glastonbury Bicycle and Pedestrian Needs Assessment Form to be used for assessment of a project relative to complete streets can be found here
