Historic Glastonbury’s 325th Anniversary Bus Tour

On Sunday, May 20th, join the Glastonbury Historical Society for a bus tour celebrating Glastonbury’s 325th Anniversary, a journey through 325 years of Glastonbury history. The narrated bus tour, which will start at the Riverfront Community Center on Welles Street at 2:00 pm, will last approximately two hours. No walking is involved. During the course of the 2 hour tour, the bus will voyage through Glastonbury’s rich shipbuilding, industrial, and agricultural roots. The tour will include historic homes, churches, schools, town halls, farming sites, manufacturing sites such as Cotton Hollow and Glastonbury’s airplane factory, shipyards, historic districts, and Glastonbury/Rocky Hill Ferry.
