Spring Brunch at Herbert T. Clark House

Eat and Tour this amazing facility!

A complimentary brunch will be held Thursday, April 27th from 9:00-11:00 am at the Herbert T. Clark House on Canione Road in Glastonbury.  Guests will be treated to a spring-themed brunch buffet prepared by Chef Paul of Sodexo, a premier provider of culinary services for senior residences. Speakers will discuss the various support services available at Clark House including housekeeping, medical monitoring, meal preparation, social service referral and recreation.  Guests will also be entertained by lovely spring tunes played on the piano.  Attendees can tour the community following the event and will be encouraged to ask questions of staff and current residents.

The Herbert T Clark House offers two levels of supportive senior housing in a lovely, quiet neighborhood.  The congregate housing unit has 45 apartments for residents who need some help with household chores and wish to have their noon meal prepared for them, along with the opportunity to see a wellness nurse weekly.   For residents needing more care, there are 25 units offering assisted living services which include daily help with dressing/bathing, medication supervision, access to a nurse as needed, household cleaning and three meals prepared each day.

A hallmark of the Herbert T. Clark community is providing an appropriate balance of independence and support services which can be adjusted as a resident’s needs change.  This flexibility has allowed many residents to stay in one place for years.  This community is an affordable option geared toward seniors with low to moderate income.  Rental and Assisted Living Service fees are linked to state/federal guidelines.  While many of our residents are from the Greater Hartford region, others move here to be close to local family members.
